Organs in general are the most nutrient dense part of an animal. As such, they are a vital part of your pet's health and is required in order to achieve optimal nutritional balance.
For pets who are new to organs, please introduce slowly and gradually starting with just a few broken pieces a day. Giving too much of a good thing very suddenly can be too rich for your animal and may result in stool change.
If you start to notice darker loose stools, skip feeding for a day or so until both shape and color resumes back to its usual form before feeding again.
BISON HEALTH PROPERTIES:
Bison is labeled as a neutral protein in Traditional Chinese Medicine and as such, is a good fit for both internally hot and cold pets.
❓Now the million dollar question: How do you know if your pet runs hot or cold?
❄️ Cold pets tend to exhibit exercise intolerance, weakness, lameness, lack of mobility, joint pain, stiffness, arthritis, and may feel cold to the touch in the ears, nose, back, and limbs. They are often found seeking warm places to rest.
🔥 Hot pets lean towards being irritable, reactive, anxious, have skin issues/hot spots, itchiness, red eyes, excessive panting, and feel warm/hot to the touch. They tend to look for shady cool areas to rest.
If you have a cold pet, you can consider feeding more warming/hot proteins. If you have a hot pet, you can look for cooling proteins. Neutral proteins work great for either situation.
